Talking to locals

Local Zagreb’s inhabitants are very friendly and love to see tourist admiring their town. Majority speaks English, especially the younger and middle aged population. If you need an advice on getting somewhere or looking for an attraction, do not hesitate to ask locals. All the generations love rock and roll and is well aware of all the international hits that hit the UK or US charts. If you are looking to make some acquaintances in Zagreb, just ask them about David Bowie, Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, Duran Duran or Lady Gaga & Metallica.

Croatian words

But, just in case you want to surprise someone by greeting them in Croatian, here is THE  WORD: BOK.  And if you like this very person, just say CMOK! 

You can say BOK in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening,
