Dolac Market, the famous and most popular Zagreb open air market is situated just by the main square, Jelačić Sq. Open daily, also on weekends from 07:30 – 14:00 hours. Fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, souvenirs, dry figs, dry fruits…can be bought here. The special attraction is the basement of Dolac, entrance down before you get on staircase. In the basement there are various butcher shops, cheese shops, bakeries, homemade cakes and much more… Visiting Dolac is a must while you’re in Zagreb.
Few days ago it got a new attraction – a beautiful, larg mural work made by the French visual artist and photographer Julien de Casabianca.
