If you are getting to Zagreb BY PLANE, there is only one airport to land – ZAGREB INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT which is 18 km distance from the Zagreb centre. From the airport you can get a taxi to Zagreb centre (approx. charge €20) or get Croatia Airlines shuttle bus ( just outside the arrival terminal) which will take you to Zagreb Bus Station close to the hystorical centre. Once you get to the Zagreb Bus Station get on the tram number 6 which takes you to the hystorical centre of Zagreb. You can book taxi in advance or just get it on the spot. Usual charge is € 20 but make sure you are confirming the price with the taxi driver as sometimes they have a habit of overcharging tourists. No trains from airport to Zagreb. Zagreb is not Frankfurt in Germany, and our trains are far behind, stuck in the 20th century. If you are arriving by TRAIN, you’ll disembark right in the centre of the town.

Getting to Zagreb Centre
Similar if you get BY BUS. Once you get to the Zagreb Bus Station get on the tram number 6 which takes you to the hystorical centre of Zagreb, or get another tram to take you to your accommodation.
